Trout on the McKenzie River  Salmon & Steelhead

Spring Chinook "Springers!"

Superior strength, fighting ability, and excellent meat quality combine to make Spring Chinook one of the most popular game fish of the Northwest.

Typical springers run from 10 to 30 pounds and can be taken using a variety of methods including: back bouncing bait, diver and bait, kwikfish, and bobber and bait.

Beginning in April we run drift boat trips on the North and South Santiam Rivers through June.

Summer Steelhead

Summer Steelheading begins in April and runs through July on the North and South Santiam Rivers.

Fishing from drift boats we use several techniques to catch these exciting fish, such as, pulling plugs, diver and bait, and drifting corkies and/or bait.

Enjoy great fishing during a wonderful time of the year on the river!

Fall Chinook on the Alsea River

Our Fall Chinook drift boat trips start on the Alsea River when the water level is high enough to float. This usually starts in mid to late October depending on when the fall rains begin. Fall Chinook can range anywhere from 15 to 50 pounds and can be taken by back bouncing, diver and bait, bobber and bait, and Kwikfish.

Winter Steelhead on the Alsea River

Alsea winter steelhead begin showing up in late November and Early December. These great fish can be taken by pulling plugs, diver and bait, drifting corkies, and bobber and jig or bait.
